Pegler Yorkshire, has announced key management changes that will propel the company forward in its drive to grow the business both domestically and internationally.

Its strengthened management team will be based at the Head Office in Doncaster, demonstrating its reliance on intellect and expertise found in the region, which has proven to be an inspirational centre of excellence to other manufacturing sites within the group.

The current Managing Director Stuart Anderson will now take up the position of Group Managing Director and continue developing his role within Pegler Yorkshire’s parent company, Netherlands based, Aalberts Industries. Stuart will oversee developments within the group businesses including Pegler Yorkshire, Westco, based in Manchester, two companies in Spain, Standard Hidraulica and Comap along with Seppelfricke and Simplex based in Germany.

Responsible for the group’s €350m turnover and over 1,850 employees Stuart Anderson commented: “I am honoured to be given this additional responsibility within the Aalberts Industries Group and am proud to have led Pegler Yorkshire through a transformational three year period.”
Neil McCaroll, previously Technical Product Director, will now take up the role of Managing Director of Pegler Yorkshire and bringing additional industry experience to the team is Scott Craig who has joined the business as Commercial Director from Wolseley where he held the position of Sales and Marketing Director for almost 10 years.

Stuart continued: “Pegler Yorkshire has over 100 years of unrivalled experience and expertise of manufacturing and innovation in the industry and it is our intention to continue building the company’s position as a leading global supplier of heating and plumbing products and solutions.
“Through product innovation, efficient manufacturing and effective distribution along with our strengthened main board I envisage an exciting next stage of growth and one which our customers will certainly reap the benefits.”

Pegler Yorkshire has recently completed a total investment of £15m in its primary casting and stamping facilities. The company has installed a state-of-the-art new furnace, which now makes Pegler Yorkshire the only organisation in the UK capable of melting brass billets on a sizable scale, four stamping presses and a Tectite production facility. All of which illustrates the company’s commitment to growth and a sustainable future.
