Pineapple Contracts’ Ryno range was “Highly Commended” by judges at European Healthcare Design Awards 2017 in June.

The awards celebrated environments and products “that promote health and wellbeing, embed quality improvement, and support the delivery of treatment and care in an accessible, economic and equitable way.”

Ryno was highly commended by judges in the “Design Innovation for Quality Improvement” category in which submissions were judged on a range of criteria including sustainability, cost-benefits, design values and benefits to overall patient experience.

The Ryno range of products have been successfully introduced to a range of indoor and outdoor environments including mental health, children’s units, healthcare, prisons and custodial. The design specifically removes all opportunity for weaponization or stashing and its optional weighting reduces risk of aggravated behaviours.

Ryno products are available in a range of colours , from bright primary colours through mid-tones to neutral shades.
