Porcelain meets terrazzo in revamped range

Diespeker has revealed updated contemporary design options for their porcelain tiles range for floors and walls.

This collection of handpicked tiles offers a mixture of strong and subtle terrazzo designs.

Unlike traditional terrazzo, which is a combination of marble chippings and cement or resin, the porcelain style terrazzo is actually printed on to the tile. Although the material doesn’t have the exact appearance of terrazzo, it offers a number of benefits including durability; as porcelain tiles are heated at high temperatures the result is a rigid material impenetrable to moisture.

Of the eight tiles currently available to order, three are based on Diespeker’s popular standard terrazzo designs; TE007, TE014 and TE069.

The tiles are only 10mm thick and there are four practical sizes offering versatility for a wide variety of wall or floor projects.

With a thinner profile and non-slip properties, the tiles open up additional design possibilities for clients – including mix and match with real terrazzo.
