Portland Stone Swags

Portland Stone Swags

Client: Paye Stoneworks & Restoration
Material: Portland Stone

When No. 159 Fenchurch Street was restored, the architects decided to increase the number of Portland Stone swags decorating the building and stoneCIRCLE was commissioned to make the new ones. The main contractor had plaster copies of the originals made and sent to the company where we scanned and created 3D digital files from them. stoneCIRCLE then machined blocks of Portland Stone to make faithful copies of the originals which were installed by the contractor.
