The new CDM series from D+H offers a powerful chain drive system designed for heavy roof and façade windows, with a 1000 N push and pull force. Its compact design, coupled with Modbus-based ACB technology, allows for flexible configurations and easy installation. The drive features a robust, low-maintenance motor and ensures quiet operation, making it ideal for both smoke ventilation and daily ventilation needs.
• High force from 1000 N at up to 1000 mm stroke
• Compact design thanks to clever triple deflection of the chain
• Robust chain and durable, low-maintenance motor
• Acoustic decoupling: virtually silent opening and closing of windows
The chain drive of the CDM series effortlessly moves heavy roof and façade windows with a force of pressure and tensile force of 1000 N. The drive has an ingenious triple chain idler setup and a short design which makes it the most compact drive in its class. It is equipped with the Modbus-based ACB technology and can therefore be flexibly configured via the D+H SCS software according to project requirements.
The drive has a central chain outlet and pluggable cable connection and is therefore easy to install. The universal bracket also enables the drive to be installed easily on a variety of window profiles. The drive has a particularly rugged steel chain with rigid backing and a brushless motor which makes it particularly durable and virtually maintenance-free.
Acoustic isolation
The components are acoustically isolated from one another so the window opens and closes almost silently.
Compact housing
Owing to the ingenious triple chain idler setup, the drive is exceptionally compact despite its considerable stroke distance. Ideal for installation on slender opening elements and skylights
