Adams Rite, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, has supplied locking hardware for a new build primary school, demonstrating its knowledge and capabilities in this sector.

Pupils at Sea Mills Primary School in Bristol have started the academic year in their new school building at Riverleaze. The purpose built site will be home to the school’s 191 students, providing them with excellent educational resources and an attractive learning environment.

Adams Rite worked closely with experienced glazing manufacturers and installers Techniglaze to supply exit devices, entry trims and door closers for the new primary school.

Adams Rite’s 960 Series Concealed Vertical Rod exit device has been used for the schools emergency exits, providing vital panic hardware for student and staff safety, as well as compliance with Fire Safety and Building Regulations. Suitable for aluminium doors, the concealed panic exit hardware uses a rotating top bolt and post type header strike, helping to secure the school building from the outside whilst ensuring a safe and swift exit for building users in the event of an emergency.

In addition, ARC-51N concealed transom door closer have been installed, along with 3082 entry trims, creating attractive single-swing doors and providing ease of passage for students and staff.
