Pop Up Units / Retractable Telescopic Feeder Pillars

Pop Up Units are versatile units that provide electricity, data points and water connection for public areas.

The ‘pop up’ nature of the units emphasises their suitability for outdoor areas as they can be raised and lowered easily with a detachable handle.

They provide power sockets ranging from 16A to 125A power supply in both single and three phase incoming supply, all with RCBO protection.

Housed within sturdy cast iron or concrete casings, the power units are simply lowered into position during installation (with only light excavation needed to dig the hole).

The unit covers are constructed of stainless steel AISI304 and offer significant protection to the power units when they are fully retracted.

The power units are supplied complete, once delivered to site all the contractor has to do then is to dig the required hole and install the unit.

In Ground Units / Flip Lid Units

Pop Up Power Supplies’® range of In Ground Power Units are also a safe option for powering outside spaces and public places.

They are a relatively compact design and able to provide power in small spaces. But best of all, they can be operated with the lid locked down.

They can provide a stable power supply to outdoor markets and stalls preventing any public access and reducing trip hazards. The power sockets are safely located within the high-grade mild steel structure, which is hot dip galvanised to BS EN: ISO1461.

Flip Lid Power Units were installed in public areas in the town of Stamford, Lincolnshire. Council Planners were pleased with the power units as not only did they benefit from a safe source of outdoor electricity for the local market stalls, but there was minimal impact on the integrity and beauty of the local area - the covers of the IGUs are recessed so paving can be installed in the top, making them adaptable to the surrounding environment
