Pulsar illuminates Singapore Skyline

Pulsar provided LED lighting solutions to have Pontiac Land Group light up the Singapore Skyline.

Millenia Tower is a grade A office tower developed by Pontiac Land Group, and is one of the tallest buildings in Singapore. It is an architectural landmark that stands 223 meters high and is strategically located in Marina Bay, easily recognized by its large pyramidal crown.

Pontiac Land Group wanted a lighting scheme for Millenia Tower that would interact with the events during the annual National Day Parade as well as other events in the city.

The Pulsar R&D team developed a custom Lens Plate and Snoot for the ChromaFlood200 to fit the pixel dimensions of the pyramid exactly and prevent direct light escaping from the fixtures.

The landmark building now also boasts 608 Pulsar ChromaRange LED fixtures comprising 368 TriColour ChromaFlood200s in the Apex and 240 TriColour Chroma AR111s in the transom windows on the four corners of the building below the pyramid.

Following various light tests examining beam-angle and light output, the solution offered by Pulsar was chosen because of its superior light distribution, ability to produce any shade and colour temperature of white, and industry leading smooth dimming.

DiMeLED worked closelywith Pulsar as the local installation partner, and says: “We strongly recommend Pulsar Light of Cambridge as a premium LED lighting solution, given their superior quality, reliability and strong support for their partners. “
