Beautiful balustrades designed and manufactured by Sapphire Balustrades in stylish stainless steel and glass are adding extra sales appeal to Putney Square, a collection of luxurious new London apartments by Barratt Homes. Thousands of metres of balustrades from Sapphire’s Onyx range have been installed on apartment balconies and courtyard terraces, many of which allow residents to enjoy stunning views of the London skyline. Barratt selected Sapphire for its fast-track capability and through-the-project support service, and it was this service that contributed to the prestigious development's speedy completion.

Combining high design versatility and aesthetic appeal with low-maintenance durability, Sapphire’s Onyx range proved the ideal choice for external balustrades in Putney Square’s one and two bedroom apartments and penthouse properties. Quality assured by Sapphire to Barratt Homes’s exacting design and quality standards, the bespoke balustrades consist of 50mm tubular balusters in satin polished stainless steel together with handrails in a matching finish. Infill panels of clear toughened glass complete the specification, creating a light and open façade to each of the four apartment blocks that make up Putney Square.
