The Miinus Kitchen range is a development born out of an environmental commitment by Finland’s largest kitchen manufacturer, Puustelli. Founded in 1920, the company, who established a reputation as wood finishing experts, made a decision to manufacture kitchens in 1977 and became Finland’s most popular brand.

In 2010 Puustelli invested €1.5 million in the development of a kitchen range that was built entirely on ecological grounds yet the brief was to improve upon the specifications and performance of a conventional kitchen. The goal was achieved and the principle and appeal of Scandinavian design were maintained across this pioneering range.

In 2015, Miinus was introduced into the UK at EcoBuild, where it quickly generated high praise from architects/specifiers/developers who form the backbone of visitors to the show. After an official launch at the Finnish Embassy in London, the Miinus range is currently available via a UK network of approved Kitchen specialists
