QIC has added to it's selection of Interior and Exterior Building Product options available with their new Balustrade range.
Combining a stylish contemporary appearance with economical use of materials, this new defining design is available with or without hand rails. As well as providing an alternative aesthetic option, the inherent strength of the Balustrade design allows the post centres to be maximised to help work within budget constraints. Infill options include toughened glass, rails, wire, mesh and perforated panels.
The new Frameless System is the intelligent onward development of the QIC Balustrade range. The outstanding features include an increase of mounting distances, which now enables the use of the profile on an anchor bolt without countersunk head. Therefore, mounting the product is not only faster and more cost efficient. It can also be used in exterior applications, withstanding a linear load of 1.5 kN and is appropriate for glass thicknesses between 12 mm and 21.52 mm.
With commercial customers already including the likes of Barclays, Marks & Spencer, Audi, Selfridges, Virgin Active, and BMW and domestic customers all over the country, the new ranges have opened the door to a plethora of new and existing clients with wide and varied balustrade requirements.
Matt Woollam, Managing Director of QIC Trims said: “We have already seen with confidence that these new products will revolutionise what is currently available in the UK market, providing our clients with attractive, durable, maintenance free, aluminium railing options which provide style and strength in equal measure at a very affordable price. We expect the success of these products to carry throughout 2021 and beyond and look forward to the exciting new projects which come our way because of that continued success”.
