Client: Heritage Homes
Electrical contractor: Brew & Corkill Ltd
Type of works: supply of Hamilton Litestats Sheer CFX range of electrical wiring accessories, including switches, sockets, TV aerial and phone points, and fuse spurs.
Hamilton Litestats Sheer CFX range of electrical wiring accessories has been specified in an award-winning, luxury Isle of Man apartment complex, Quay West.
The decorative electrical-wiring accessories and lighting-control manufacturer supplied a range of its switches, sockets, TV aerial and phone points, and fuse spurs for use throughout the development. The ultra-slim, minimalist Sheer CFX plates were finished in satin stainless-steel and featured Hamiltons patented concealed fixing-system to provide a completely smooth design that complements the contemporary yet classic interiors of the marina properties.
Quay West, which picked up the Daily Mail Property Award for Best Development on the Isle of Man in 2009, is a collection of one-, two- and three-bedroom waterfront properties overlooking North Quay in Douglas. It is being built in eight phases, of which the developers, Heritage Homes, are currently working on the second. When completed, Quay West will include over 260 high-specification homes.
Our Sheer CFX range has been proving very popular in developments like this where the interiors are stylish and luxurious, yet are filled with clean lines and smooth edges, said Lisa Brown, Hamiltons north-western Sales Representative. The smooth, pared down profile with hidden fixings fits perfectly in new homes like Quay West where the focus is on the amazing space and light on offer. Sheer CFX plates look seamless and feel quality to touch, yet dont detract from other features in the interior and will work well in whatever style of interior design the new owners decide to incorporate.
The order was placed via the Douglas branch of Walsall Conduits and the products were installed by electrical contractors Brew & Corkill Ltd, also based in Douglas.
