The Solid Wood Flooring Company worked closely with Brown and Carroll, The Architects, Make and Lend Lease, and the main contractor to create a competitively priced high-quality floor for the above development.

There are two palette colours a “Latte” light board (Rathbone Light Fumed Oak Flooring) and an “Expresso” dark board (Rathbone Espresso Fumed Oak Flooring and Rathbone Wide Espresso Dark Fumed Oak Flooring).

These were prime oak and were fumed and then finished with a colour oil for easy maintenance and repair to create a uniform natural wood floor.
SWF are supplying a 190mm wide board and a 260mm wide board in a very select clean grade 20mm thick engineered flooring.

They used their specialist knowledge in the area of fuming to alter the tannins in the Oak top layer to create a unique brushed finish.

SWF completed a site visit and the senior commercial manager from Brown and Carroll went to the factory during production to carry out due diligence.
