CPS Manufacturing Co have installed 155 retractable seats for the Avon Room at the University of Birmingham as part of a refurbishment.

Retractable seating was chosen to make the best use of the space available and due it being quick and easy to store.

Each of the seats had individual writing tablets ideal for lectures. Steps were also installed with the seating.

The refurbishment transformed the room into a modern, first-class lecture theatre.
