RIBA approved CPD seminars from Kaba

Leading door manufacturer and supplier Kaba Door Systems have recently had two new RIBA approved CPD seminars approved and are now able to offer them to architects and specifiers across the UK.

The seminars deliver information on Disability Discrimination (DDA) compliance and cover design implications for specifying automatic doors.

Kaba have realised that the importance of legislation far out reaches the boundaries of BS 7036:1996 and have developed informative seminars detailing Part M, BS 8300, DDA, Part B, BS 5588, BS 7273-4:2007 showing how they affect automatic door specification, their complexity and how it is now the responsibility of the architect or specifier to ensure that the legislation is fulfilled. The two new seminars aim to familiarise delegates with the implications of current legislation and its impact on the selection of automatic doors.

Seminars can be booked through RIBA or by calling Kaba direct. The Kaba website also features a CPD request form.

Kaba Door Systems has over 80 years international experience in the design manufacture and installation of a leading range of, commercial and industrial door systems. With regional centres across the UK, Kaba also offers a nationwide repair and maintenance service and is a member of the Automatic Door Suppliers Association (ADSA), the Door and Hardware Federation (DHF) and is NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (PASA) approved.
