Edam, The Netherlands 31st March, 2022 – Royal Boon Edam International B.V. is proud to announce the appointment of Marc Giese as new Chief Executive Officer of the Group, effective from 1st April.

Marc Giese has extensive experience in leading international industrial companies and has an impressive track record in organising and developing pan-European structures for sales, services, and operations over the past 20 years.

Niels Huber, CEO of the Boon Edam Group since 2012, will hand over his CEO responsibilities at the end of March 2022 and focus on his role as Chairman. Niels Huber has successfully led Boon Edam to new heights, implementing an effective strategy. After careful deliberation, Niels Huber decided to appoint Marc Giese as the new CEO, and to return to his original role as Chairman of a new supervisory body – ensuring the Huber family's commitment to the Boon Edam Group.

Taking up a New Strategic Challenge

In 2020 Boon Edam recalibrated its global strategy and set challenging targets for 2025. The coming years are set to reap the benefits of recent market development and critical investments that have already been made in products and services. For almost 150 years, the Boon Edam Group used new market developments as a foundation for growth – and it is now time to evolve into a new era with Marc Giese at the helm.
