PROJECT INFORMATION

This fantastic project situated in the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin was designed by Henry J Lyons who utilised their Topakustik 14/2M (aw 0.90, Absorption Class A, NRC 0.89) system for its aesthetics and acoustic properties. Constructed by Bennett Construction and installed by Commercial Connections our Topakustik system will fight against the large reflective sounds created in such a vast space.

The project has won numerous awards including:
• Building of the Year - Educational at the Building and Architect of the Year Awards 2018
• RIAI Public Choice Award at the RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2018
• Best Educational/Healthcare project at the 2018 ICE Awards
• Best Building Project at the 2018 Irish Concrete Society Awards
• Overall Fit Out Project of the Year at the 2018 Fit Out Awards
• Fit Out Project of the Year - Healthcare at the 2018 Fit Out Awards
• Design Project of the Year at the Property Industry Excellence Awards 2018
