The school required washroom systems that were easy to clean and maintain, that would last for years.
The project
Situated in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Royal Grammar School (RGS) is an establishment for boys aged 11-18. It was first established in 1562 and has the capacity for around 1370 boys.
The school prides itself on its top-class exam results, commitment to the individual needs of each pupil and the excellent facilities it offers their boys - the washrooms are no exception.
Having previously had Venesta toilet cubicles installed in the late 90s, the school decided it was time for a total refurbishment of the washroom areas.
The challenge
Having had a washroom system with hassle-free maintenance lasting over 2 decades, Royal Grammar School needed to ensure that the next supplier could deliver products that not only gave a fresh new look but would be as durable as the previous Venesta toilet cubicle installation.
As a busy school, staff at Royal Grammar had to ensure the new toilet cubicles, IPS and vanity units would be durable and hardwearing. The school worked with their dedicated Venesta Washrooms Specification Manager to specify the most suitable, fit-for-purpose washroom systems.
The solution
Royal Grammar School decided that Venesta Washrooms was again the natural choice for this new project.
Having not updated the toilet cubicles for such a long time, the school had a look through their fresh, new range of washroom products to decide which cubicle system was most suited to their school and students.
At Venesta they are constantly committed to product improvement and innovation. They were delighted to work with Royal Grammar School again and provide another toilet cubicle system that will not only last for years to come but one that complements the outstanding facilities that they offer their boys.
Needing something that was easy to clean and maintain, simple to install and would last for years, their Award toilet cubicles in High Pressure Laminate (HPL) were chosen along with Solid Grade Laminate vanity units in matching colours. SGL is impervious to water and can withstand regular and thorough cleaning, making it a great material choice for the school's vanity units.
Not stopping there, the school also specified their Vepps (IPS) panelling system. All sanitary-ware was pre-plumbed and tested at their manufacturing facility before being delivered to site for installation, making the completion of the job hassle-free and quick.
They are thrilled to have been able to work with Royal Grammar School again and are pleased to hear how well received the new washrooms were with students.
