Broxap won the contract to provide an external furniture package for a landscaped hospital garden that patients would use during their recuperation. This was part of a new-build element of Stanmore Hospital.

Working with main contractor, Balfour Beatty Regional Construction Ltd, Broxap provided and installed items to enhance the external elements of the site.

This included:

• A large scale, waterproof, tensioned Parasol.
• A series of stainless steel bollards and cycle stands.
• Apollo stainless steel litter bins.
• A series of steel framed seats with hardwood Iroko timber slats.
• Door barriers to the main building supplied

Knowing that exercise is a big element of rehabilitation, there was a desire for a basketball goal within the garden to promote activity. For this, Broxap were able to turn to their sports division, Stadia Sports to complete the bundle.

Now, orthopaedic patients can use the hospital garden and enjoy the benefits of its furniture package.
