A bespoke colour scheme from Sadolin has revitalised a 40-year-old ski facility in the North West. Log cabins at Ski Rossendale a social enterprise encouraging people to access skiing and snowboarding - were starting to show their age after four decades hosting ski lessons, public sessions, parties and events. Now, a tailored colour scheme bringing Alpine colours to the Lancashire hills has rejuvenated the facility while providing additional protection to the wooden buildings.
The team chose a specially created colour scheme by Crown Paint colour consultants in Sadolin Superdec for a complete exterior overhaul of the offices, changing rooms and cafe. Karon Driver, director, ski instructor and duty manager at Ski Rossendale, said "It was amazing to see the colours going on. After four decades coated with a dark brown it was impossible to get back to the natural beauty of the timber, but Sadolin Superdec was so rich and easy to apply it just covered the surfaces straight away".
A water-borne woodcare product, Sadolin Superdec is available in a wide spectrum of colours and provides up to eight years protection for exterior timber.
