Westgate Global were chosen as the preferred supplier for a uPVC hoarding client corridor on a project at Sixty London Wall, a Grade A office building. Overbury, leading fit-out and refurbishment specialists, wanted to create a tunnel to provide safe passage to the site office for clients visiting during the fitout phase. The hoarding product of choice was Hoardfast uPVC at a height of 2.7 metres.

The key requirement of the project was to build a protective tunnel within the 4th-floor construction site, allowing clients safe access during visits. The tunnel was designed with a dog-leg layout to guide visitors from the 4th Floor entrance to the site office, ensuring their safety. The design also included double doors to serve as emergency exits, providing both practical functionality and enhanced safety measures.

Before the project was initiated, a detailed site visit was conducted to assess the requirements and discuss potential solutions with Overbury. The project demanded a tailored approach, including the need for a lid on the tunnel to enhance safety further.
