Once the lockdown measures started to ease across the UK and businesses began a phased reopening, Liam Peskett, Sales Director of Fire Safe Direct, knew that hygiene safety was a priority.
“We wanted to make the premises COVID-secure for staff who are coming into work,” he says. “One element of this was improving hygiene measures and reducing cross-contamination, especially in areas that are used often.”

“We’ve worked with Fireco for a number of years as we sell their products in our trade stores. They contacted us about stocking one of their new hygiene products and we knew this would be the perfect fit for our own office.”
When presented with Fireco’s products, Liam chose their Germgard System and had one fitted by the staff entrance to promote the use of hand sanitiser.

The Germgard System has quickly proved its worth to both staff and visitors of Safe Fire Direct. According to Liam, “When the Health and Safety Executive arrived to check the premises, they were really impressed with our new Germgard as it was a clear and visual indication of our Covid-secure strategy.”
