AREA 1 – GALVANISED SAFETY RAILING

Shaw Security supplied and installed a robust galvanised tubular safety-railing system around the perimeter of the raised internal floor area, providing reliable edge protection and improved site safety.

The installation comprised:

Galvanised tubular posts and horizontal rails
Heavy-duty modular tube fittings for a secure and durable structure
Base-plated posts securely fixed to the floor
A continuous railing system formed around the full perimeter of the raised area
Returned end sections to provide a safe, neat and finished appearance
Complete site measurement, supply and professional installation

Designed to provide long-lasting protection in a demanding working environment, the galvanised railing system creates a secure barrier around the raised floor area while maintaining a clean and professional finish.

AREA 2 – STAINLESS-STEEL STAIRCASE BALUSTRADING

Shaw Security supplied and installed a bespoke stainless-steel balustrade and handrail system to the internal staircase, intermediate landings and open floor edges, providing robust protection while maintaining a clean and contemporary appearance.

The installation comprised:

Stainless-steel vertical balustrade posts
Continuous stainless-steel handrails
Horizontal stainless-steel tension-wire infill
Balustrading installed across the stair flights
Protective balustrading around the intermediate and upper landings
Bespoke sections designed and formed around corners and changes in level
Final alignment, wire tensioning and finishing

The stainless-steel system provides reliable edge protection throughout the staircase and surrounding areas, while its open design allows light and visibility to pass through the stairwell. This creates a practical safety solution without compromising the modern appearance of the space.
