E-Z-Rect is one of the leading suppliers of document storage solutions in the UK. Providing schemes to achieve cost-effective storage of files and archives in both on-site and off-site applications. This project was for Scott Law, the leading off-site document archiving and retrieval specialist responsible for over 500,000 archive boxes.
The requirement was to provide dense storage, whilst enabling high retrieval rates so that high levels of customer service could be maintained. The solution was to use E-Z-Rect’s Type 1 shelving that has been designed to accommodate archive boxes stacked two high and two deep on each shelf.
The photograph shows the upper level of a 3-tier raised aisle system that maximises the capacity of the building. Each level has open grid walkways that are accessed by staircases at each end of the building.
