SDS are pleased to announce that they have been shortlisted for the NCE Awards 2025 in the “Impact in Water and Environment – Contractor” category. This recognition highlights a commitment to innovative, sustainable water management solutions that tackle critical global challenges such as water scarcity and flooding.
SDS has implemented technologies developed in-house, including Intellistorm® and SYMBiotIC™, which combine live weather data with IoT technology to optimise rainwater collection and usage. These systems help reduce flooding risks, conserve water and provide smarter solutions for communities and businesses.
Projects undertaken with organisations like Devon & Cornwall Police and Barratt Developments have allowed us to demonstrate measurable results, such as saving over 90,000 litres of potable water at Devon & Cornwall Police in just 9 months and reusing 16,000 litres for irrigation at Blackburn’s Farm. These solutions are making a real, positive impact in both residential and large-scale infrastructure projects.
In addition to the NCE Award nomination, SDS was also recently shortlisted for the edie ‘Product Innovation’ Award for our Intellistorm® & SYMBiotIC™ system. While they did not win, this recognition further validates the positive impact their intelligent technologies are having in promoting and encouraging sustainability and environmental responsibility.
As SDS continues to grow, theyremain dedicated to delivering smarter, more sustainable water management solutions that make a lasting difference for both the environment and communities.
