Marshalls Metrolinia concrete seating elements were chosen for the regeneration of some of the residential spaces Maritime Streets area in Barrow Island.

The landscaping is designed in a way to reconnect the community, using both paving and seating to create intersecting lines leading from the gardens to the apartment buildings. The scheme incorporates Marshalls Metrolinia concrete seating elements designed to encourage local families to sit down and socialise.

Over 120 seating elements were strategically positioned at key points within the central landscaped area, reinforcing the message of bringing the community back together.

Metrolinia is a modular seating solution that can be configured in many ways to create different styles of seating arrangements to match the environment.
