Second modular classroom for Nottingham school

Second modular classroom for Nottingham school

Costock Primary School desperately needed more room for its expanding community. Danzer was commissioned by the local authority to build a brand new modular classroom, creating a bright modern learning space for the children and teachers alike.

The building was constructed by Danzer's team at Langley Mill during the summer months and was delivered and installed by them in good time for the start of the September term. The children now have a fantastic, bright and cheery space in which to study. Danzer included standard and disabled toilets, an all-important storeroom and a kitchen/staff room in which the adults can relax.

The overall building height is 4m which required Danzer to transport the units on articulated low loaders. As access on site was also tight, they were then transferred on to a rigid vehicle which travelled across a trackway which was put in place to protect the school grass. They were then lifted into their final position and commissioned for use with all services being fully connected.
