ASSA ABLOY Security Doors delivered a successful project at the new Canary Wharf Elizabeth Line Station.

The doors needed to be of an extremely high quality and durable, to withstand high usage levels over prolonged periods of time.

Safety was also a key concern due to the scale of the project, and the amount of people predicted to use the facilities.

ASSA ABLOY Security Doors provided pivoted, fire rated platform doors to conceal station equipment rooms that needed to be clad with vitreous enamel panels. The design was based around a pivot system, capable of supporting the weight of the doors, weighing up to 300kgs.
