CLD Fencing have teamed up with Allen TPS to protect a major UK based defence manufacturer who needed to upgrade their physical perimeter.

Work originally began in 2016, where CLD Fencing Systems worked on the HQ and production site.

Allens TPS, a member of CLD’s Approved Contractors Scheme, secured the installation work in 2018 with the final completion in early 2019.

The Securus SR1 system was selected to offer the highest level of protection and defence, unique in the high security fencing marketplace due to the ability to upgrade the system.

With the addition of a second ‘skin’ and a number of security fixings the system can be transformed from an LPS 1175 SR1 system to SR2; tripling its minimum delay against attack.

This allows the client to ‘upgrade’ its fence line in the future; without major work being required, should the threat level change.

A total of over 1 kilometre of Securus SR1 and associated swing and sliding gates were installed on this project.
