SIG Design & Technology has become the sole UK distributors for IKO’s Armourplan PVC single ply membrane and ancillary products.
SIG Design & Technology will hold in stock £400,000 worth of membrane which will be ready for dispatch from their 60,000 sq foot central warehouse and four-acre site at Dudley, West Midlands.
The team at Dudley has been increased to provide dedicated customer support, and technical advice will also be available from the Shepshed, Loughborough headquarters.
Armourplan is a polyester-reinforced PVC membrane which is suitable for use on a wide range of roofing applications including specialist installations such as simulated metal roofs. The only UK-produced single ply, it can be installed more quickly than most membranes as fewer fixings are required.
Design can be enhanced further with the use of a wide range of ancillary items including standing seam profiles where a traditional metal appearance is desired. UV stable, the membrane forms a sleek skin on many types of roof application, is available in a wide range of colours and offers limitless design possibilities.
The only change for existing Armourplan customers is to fax orders directly to SIG Design & Technology on 01509 505475. ‘New number’ leaflets, fax stickers and promotional gifts are available for Armourplan PVC customers.
Trading Director Mike Crook believes that by combining the portfolios of Armourplan and existing SIG Design & Technology products, customers will have much more to choose from and more business edge in a competitive marketplace.
