D+H UK provided a natural smoke ventilation system consisting of a CPS-M control panel and louvres complete with drives at Sixty London Wall.
Sixty London Wall is a mixed-use building in the heart of London. It offers 325,000 sq. ft of office space over ten floors and 20,000 sq. ft of retail space on the ground floor.
D+H UK supplied and installed 6 aluminium louvres plus their controls as part of a natural smoke ventilation system.
The certified louvres are located at the top of the building, each one has two D+H LDF drives for operation. The CPS-M panel controls the drives and is linked directly into the Building Management System (BMS).
D+H UK used the D+H BSY gateway module within the panel. This enabled them to connect a 0-10 BMS signal, allowing for modulated opening of the drives for natural ventilation purposes. This smart technology allows for simple and easy operation, and is possible with any BSY enabled D+H drive.
In the event of a fire, the CPS-M panel will receive a signal from the fire alarm. This will activate the louvres to open, drawing the smoke up and out of the affected space.
