D+H UK HQ is located in Stockport, Cheshire, and is home to the Dyer planning, installation, maintenance and technical support teams.

When the time came for replacing the old timber windows, the company decided to provide the ultimate showcase of their automation abilities; 12 individual automated aluminium windows, each with a completely different opening window design.

The different designs include top / side / bottom-hinged, inward / outward-opening, parallel-opening, centre-pivoting and louvres. Various bespoke chain and locking drive solutions were used to showcase the drive range. Through their unique smoke ventilation certification process with fabricators, D+H UK included EN-certified smoke vents.

For security purposes, coupled with sun shading, D+H UK also automated the external shutters and provided lock-out controls to ensure no clashing of windows and shutters. The controls system also provided automatic ventilation based on the internal and external environment, as well as local controls for individual window and shutter operation.
