South West London Property

South West London Property

When extending this South West London property, architect Nigel Buckie of Object Architecture was briefed to combine modern building products with traditional features to ensure the design blended inwith the existing property.

Having worked successfully with the Rooflight Company before on another project using Plateau Rooflights, the architect was keen to specify the Conservation Rooflight® on this project.

“I believe the Conservation Rooflight® is a better quality rooflight compared with other similar rooflights on the market. And although it is slightly more expensive than some other rooflights, you get for what you pay for in terms of aesthetics and quality of the overall product. I persuaded my client that the extra expense would be worth it, and they now completely agree from both an interior and exterior perspective. What’s more, the builders installing the rooflights were able to easily install them flush into the standing seam zinc roof and they agreed that it wasn’t as difficult as they had thought it may be.”

A total of four Conservation Rooflights® were specified on this project, each with a flashing kit and chrome pole winders to allow easy opening.
