CPD: Specifying Sustainable Timber Windowframes

This session will explore the the role of sustainable timber window frames in meeting global emissions reduction goals. We will analyze the most recent UN Emissions Gap Report and explore relevant recommendations. We will cover relevant certifications and regulations including where they are in tension with each other . We will also provide a comparison of materials available for window frames, including plastic, aluminum, and wood. We will finish with an overview of the root to recycling methodology, and the benefits of these sustainable practices for clients and the general public.
