Stainless steel dissection tables for University of Liverpool Veterinary Department

Stainless steel dissection tables for University of Liverpool Veterinary Department

We were kindly approached by the University of Liverpool Veterinary Department to produce a large number of Stainless Steel dissection and examination tables in two styles. These units needed to be mobile, light, robust and versatile enough to catering for various roles within one product.

Stainless steel was always going to be the desired material of choice for the obvious reasons of hygiene and ease of cleaning units in large numbers.

When not in use as a practical item the tables are used by students as desks with the addition of a large thick diameter sheet of polyethylene board placed within the antidrip edge of the tables. This has produced a product which serves many roles within the department.

The tables themselves are designed with an antidrip edge to all sides and a quantity of the tables were specified to have a fall to one end and a spigot drain to a removable stainless steel bucket that sat upon a small under shelf mounted on the rigid frame below.

Since the completion of these units and the delivery to the customer within the specified due date, we have been fortunate to secure further orders from within the University for delivery to other departments.

We have also supplied other independent veterinary practices around the country with similar tables and washroom equipment.
