Stainless Steel Wash Fountains for Tong High School

Stainless Steel Wash Fountains for Tong High School

Schools and colleges have been major customers of Saville Stainless for a number of years, in which time we have designed and produced a number of pioneering washroom products and sanitaryware, including:

The SS6282LROS lever-operated drinks fountain, designed for younger children unable to operate traditional, button-press fountains.

The SS81 academy-pattern wash trough, produced for schools across the North West. This robust trough, in bespoke lengths, featured a secure but accessible, tamperproof frontage and stylish design.

A good showcase of our work was provided recently at Tong High School: a newly rebuilt, specialist sports college, based in Bradford. As part of its new washroom facilities, the school needed to replace multiple washbasins with wash fountains to reduce the number of waste outlet pipes and supply pipes to dozens of taps.

Our solution involved the Sanispray range of stainless steel wash fountains. The fountains’ circular designs needed only one water supply to each fountain, and one waste supply from the pedestal – therefore being a cost-effective, convenient solution for the new washroom design.

The project was successfully completed on spec and on budget, and well in time for the school’s grand opening. Since the opening, the school’s washrooms, featuring our Sanispray wash fountains, have been featured in a BBC report on regenerating England’s schools.
