Stannah at The Grange

Stannah at The Grange

The Grange Hotel in York is an AA 4-star beautifully restored classic Regency town house with 36 individually-designed bedrooms within a striking interior. It is a delicious mix of traditional elegance and modern chic, grand yet homely.

Two Stannah Microlifts are an invisible but essential part of The Grange experience, because the whole ambience of a visit to this beautiful hotel is based on excellent, but unobtrusive, service. The food lifts or dumbwaiters ensure the kitchen delivers everything on time and at the correct temperature throughout the four-storey
venue.

Locally renowned Head Chef, James Brown, serves exceptional food to hotel guests, wedding and celebration parties so was keen to express just how central the lifts are to his kitchen’s day to day operations: “It’s impossible to do my job without our Stannah Microlifts – and I love the heating feature - an invaluable innovation!” James and his team prepare the finest of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to perfection – and serve them to perfection in The Ivy Brasserie, the Grange’s award winning restaurant, the Cellar Bar, the Morning Room, the Green Room and Library.

The Grange Hotel was delighted to receive the prestigious award for Outstanding Customer Service at the York Tourism Awards 2009.
