Recognised for its traditional Gaelic pub craic generated by live music and tasty food in a laid-back but friendly setting, national Irish pub chain, ONeills, says fáilte (welcome) to a Stannah double-decker Microlift at their vibrant three-storey branch in Reading.
Operating between basement and third-floor kitchen, this hard-working dumbwaiter can lift 50kg per car, per haul, with the combination and capacity to lift two different loads per journey. It delivers a streamlined and comprehensive service between floors, from shifting boxed deliveries to the movement of food and its trappings. Importantly, it helps members of staff to maintain an all-day food service within the spacious ground-floor bar/dining area seating approximately two hundred people.
The upper car features rise-and-fall shutters and loads at chest height, and the lower car features a single steel-hinged door and loads at floor level via a trolley. Finished in a complementary satin stainless steel, the two cars operate within a single structure-supported shaft making this the ideal service lift when space is at a premium.
General Manager, Declan Smyth, comments: Ours is a lively branch with a reputation for delivering good food and good service. We needed the best back-up we could get to help maintain this performance, and our Stannah double-decker Microlift certainly lightens the load, transporting twice the goods per operation.
