Merlin House is the former head office of Rolls-Royce’s massive engineering business in Glasgow, Scotland. Situated on the busy Hillington Business Park the site was converted to high-end, flexible office space in 2015. More than thirty regional and national organisations work from on-site suites.

The property developer required upgrades to be installed with minimal disruption to business, which would continue as usual throughout refurbishment. Merlin House is used by numerous businesses and therefore pedestrian traffic can be heavy at peak times, as employees and guests move to and from their place of work.

A high capacity 3-wing RD300 automatic ‘All-Glass’ revolving door system was designed to the architects’ brief.
