Building products manufacturer Steadmans has improved further its sales and distribution facilities in Ireland to provide an enhanced service for clients and business partners.
Additional staff are being recruited to work in the companys Irish sales team, joining the established area sales manager and sales staff. The expanded team will be based at new offices in 6 - 8 Balmoral Road, Balmoral Industrial Estate, Belfast, BT12 6QA.
The site offers a much better environment for customers, has better access and meets the immediate needs of the business and allows for further growth in the future. Sales staff have improved facilities to discuss the Steadmans product range, which includes galvanised roofing sections, composite wall and roof sheets, metal cladding, roofing products and fibre cement sheeting.
Additionally, Steadmans two delivery vehicles previously based in Banbridge, Co Down, have merged into the larger SIG plc parent company fleet in Omagh, Co Tyrone. This increases greatly the total number of vehicles which will be available to deliver orders to Steadmans customers.
Chris Williams, Steadmans managing director, said: These enhancements will deliver better customer service and additional client access, as the Belfast and Omagh locations will provide extra sites for order collections. The changes will also bring improved distribution, boosted sales staffing levels and greater capacity for future growth. Our implementation of these improvements confirms we continue to perceive the considerable potential in the Irish market which prompted our entry to it in 1997.
We have also written to all our customers in Ireland, to notify them of the new arrangements and provide details of whom within Steadmans they should contact, if they have any queries.
