Helo UK recently completed a refurbishment of the health suite at Taro Leisure Centre. The old pine sauna and acrylic steam room were completely replaced with new modern designs and features. The sauna and steam rooms are crammed full of Helo innovation and functionality.

The sauna is illuminated with a combination of small LED ceiling spots and warm underbench strip lights. The stone wall above the hidden heater protects the warmest area of the sauna in an attractive manner. The benches have easily removed front skirtings for cleaning. The horizontal panelling creates a feeling of space within the room.

The steam room is constructed of Lux Element for strength and thermal insulation. The room is finished in large, contemporary styled tiles with sloping backrests for comfort. Illumination is by warm underbench LED lights with a fibre-optic starry sky effect in the ceiling. The steam room utilises the “Helo Wellness system” for safe, quiet distribution of air, steam and essence for a beautiful bathing environment.
