Steel door screens give 1930s home modern twist

Steel door screens give 1930s home modern twist

Clement steel windows and door screens were chosen or a renovated 1930s house in Cambridge.

Clement steel windows and door screens were chosen to totally revitalise the back of the house and also internally, with the addition of an interior screen between the kitchen and sitting room.

The slim, black frames let in plenty of light as well as create a contemporary feel throughout.

Clement EB24 steel sections were used for the external screen and windows, allowing for double glazing and a consistent look, whilst internally a W20 steel section was used with a 6.4mm glass unit.

Emma, of Emma Adams Architects, said: “As an Architect working on private houses, I have used Clement Windows on a few projects now and have found them to be responsive with their pricing, detailed design, production information and helpful on site.

“Any minor problems have been put right immediately and my clients have been more than happy with the outcome. Their steel windows are of good quality and have looked great in both heritage settings and modern interiors.”
