In a move to improve the matchday experience, Stoke City Football Club has invested in a new Fan Zone. Featuring canopies that offer fans much-needed shelter and elevate the overall atmosphere, the Fan Zone has become a popular gathering spot for supporters before and after matches.
SCFC partnered with Broxap to design, manufacture, and install several Tornado parasol canopies, which provide protection from the elements and enhance the area's visual appeal.
Six canopies were installed, totalling 30 meters in length and 5 meters in width. The frames are galvanised and polyester powder coated in Carmine Red, and the PVC fabric is done in a Ferrari 502S-V2, Poppy Red. This gave the area a refreshed and vibrant look, matching the football club's official colour branding of red and white.
The canopies were installed during the off-season to ensure they were ready for the start of the new football season without disrupting regular activities.
The Fan Zone has been transformed into a comfortable and inviting space for fans to gather, socialise and enjoy the pre-match build-up. Response has been very positive, with people appreciating the new canopies, especially during rainy and sunny days.
Rebecca Murray, Technical Sales Advisor, and David Kociak, Contracts Manager at Broxap, said, "We are thrilled to have worked on this opportunity with Stoke City FC as Stoke City Fans. We are now looking forward to experiencing the Fan Zone in all its glory, week in, week out!"
The project also included 24 Brompton Picnic Benches, providing comfortable seating for everyone to gather and dine.
