Stressline complete multi-phase flooring project in Swindon.

The project has seen the supply and installation of over 115,000 square feet of beam & block and hollowcore flooring.

The multi-phase, multi-plot development is now reaching its final phase and all of the flooring supplied and installed by Stressline is in place across more than 150 units throughout the development.

The project started in 2013 when the developers Matthew Homes contracted Stressline to provide a solid, reliable and cost-effective flooring solution.

Over the course of the development Stressline supplied nearly half a million pounds worth of flooring products.

Stressline specified 150mm prestressed beam & block flooring manufactured to their ‘I’ Beam design which is a proven system used by developers and ground workers throughout the UK.

In addition to the beam & block, Stressline also supplied and installed over 45,000 square feet of 150mm and 200mm hollowcore flooring, manufactured with a self-weight of 300 kg/m2, which ensures compliance with the latest sound regulations.

As well as the prestressed concrete flooring systems, Stressline supplied 16 precast concrete stair flights which are designed to perfectly complement the flooring systems supplied.
