We were therefore delighted to complete this striking custom installation for Heathrow Airport’s new Terminal 2 lounge, featuring our bespoke interpretation of the Union Flag.

Having previously delivered an artificial green wall installation at Terminal 5 many years ago, it was a privilege for our team to collaborate once again on such a prestigious Heathrow project. This time, the brief was clear: introduce warmth and colour into an environment that can often feel sterile. The result is a far more inviting lounge space, enhancing the passenger experience from the moment they arrive. Research shows that the presence of greenery, even artificial, can have a calming and restorative effect.

The design combines our Luxury Flowering Panels with premium foliage from our Purple French Lavender and Delicate White Colour Boxes. Around 700 individual plants were hand-placed by our installation team to bring the concept to life. While these Colour Boxes are often used to introduce accents and highlights, they are equally effective when used at scale to form bold shapes and patterns tailored to a client’s vision.
