Stunning school buildings in Southwark

Av Danzer has undertaken two more substantial school projects for the London Borough of Southwark in combined contracts worth over £300,000. The first was to build an additional classroom facility for Keyworth Primary School in Kennington to help the school to ease the pressure on pupil numbers.

With a roll call of over 300 pupils the school wanted an additional modular classroom which was built at Danzer's production facility at Langley Mill. It comprises four modules which combine to provide a new classroom, WCs, disabled WCs, storeroom and lobby. The new classroom was delivered in time for the start of the September term and Danzer's installation team undertook all groundworks including foundations, external work and all mains services and connections.

The second school to receive a new classroom this September was Grange Primary School on Tower Bridge Road. For them Danzer built, delivered and installed the same classroom facility but this time we finished the exterior in s more dramatic blue and black colour scheme. Access was tight but the driver managed to squeeze the crane in through the main gates will only millimetres to spare, enabling the building to be delivered in time for the school bell to ring.
