Style divides space at Tower Gardens Pavilion in Skegness

Style have provided their Dorma Hüppe Variflex moveable wall to create one large and one smaller room that can accommodate two events at the Tower Gardens Pavilion in Skegness.

A sustainable and cost-effective option, the Variflex carries an environmental product declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804.

Its elements are manufactured separately to the frame, meaning only the panel facings need to be changed in the future.

As part of the plan, Skegness Town Council wanted the main hall to be able to accommodate different sized events and meetings, making best use of the space and maximising any room rental income.

Working with GF Tomlinson Building Limited, and Core Architects, Style recommended the versatile Dorma Hüppe Variflex moveable wall as the most practical solution.

Mike Fine, Style’s director for the Midlands said, “This moveable wall installation will enable the council to host multiple events thanks to the flexibility it provides, and the privacy delivered from its 55dB Rw acoustic integrity.”

“The pearl grey finish perfectly suits the interior design of the room while providing a light, welcoming and modern environment to the hall. It was a pleasure to be specified on a project that will reinvigorate an iconic building in this famous seaside town.”
