Heckmondwike FB worked with Christian’s Carpets to supply Array and Broadrib carpet tiles to The Crescent, a local charity in West Yorkshire.
Christian’s Carpets is one of their long-standing valued customers in the Batley area and they were approached by Paula, the CEO and Founder of The Crescent.
The Carpet Tiles Request
Paula explained that she needed a company to supply and install carpet tiles for an old building across the road that the Charity were renovating and planning to use. The building would increase their current capacity and enable them to host more events to raise funds and help more people.
Paula wanted some grey carpet with some colourful tiles to make the room feel vibrant and welcoming. The carpet tiles needed to be easy to clean, long-lasting and comfy.
The Installed Carpet Result
Christian Carpets did a fantastic job of the design and installation. They chose Broadrib and Array carpet tiles with some coloured squares to brighten up the room.
Overall, the carpet transformed the space from a dilapidated room with a bumpy, uneven floor, into a fun, vibrant and welcoming room. We are also supplying Playrite NearlyGrass that will be installed onto the walls.
‘We were delighted with the result and how the carpet tiles complement the colourful lights in the wall. Thank you so much for being one of our main sponsors of our project. We can’t wait to see the artificial grass on the walls and watch people use it as a background for photos.’
Paula, The Crescent.
‘When the charity explained how they were striving to support people in need, I knew that they had something really special about them. I was blown away by how many different ways that the volunteers help our local community. I’m so glad that we were able to play a part in supporting this local charity.’ Simon, Christian’s Carpets.
More about the Charity
The volunteers help visitors to find suitable housing, funding, as well as teaching new skills to improve well-being. In fact, when we visited the site, we arrived just before a bus of disabled people who were attending a card making class. The class is one of many free activities that The Crescent offers to combat isolation and loneliness.
Supporting this Yorkshire Charity
