When members of the Willmott Dixon Community Committee reached out to ask for Brewers' support with their latest project, they just couldn’t say no! Paints, sundries and more were donated to help revamp the Best Before Café in Letchworth town centre.

The Best Before Café’s mission is to feed people…not landfills! A group of volunteers from Letchworth rescue food from supermarkets to share with the local community. Their space needed painting and the community committee from Willmott Dixon wanted to give up their time to help transform the space.

Willmott Dixon reached out to Geoff Pardon, (Sector Lead for Social Housing And Tenant Voucher Scheme) to see if Brewers could help. Geoff specified the space, recommended durable paint finishes and organised the donation of all the supplies needed for the refurbishment. Albany Soft Sheen was used for its washability and durability. Geoff and Brewers colleague, Marcus Elwin, also headed down to the café and picked up some paint brushes to help get the job done.

The final result looks fantastic and what an incredible initiative!
