The most common application for the trade product ProResin is resin bound paving. When comparing SureSet ProResin UVR to other aliphatic resins on the market, it was clear that SureSet ProResin UVR is by far superior. However, there was a demand for an alternative option and therefore SureSet decided to launch ProResin Non-UVR.

ProResin Non-UVR is a high-performance MDI resin specifically for lower budget projects. Compared with similar products on the market it provides excellent physical properties and the application characteristics of the ProResin UVR. Of equal importance, ProResin Non-UVR is competitively priced.

What is the difference between them?
ProResin UVR is controlled with a separate catalyst and performs brilliantly under natural sunlight conditions and will not yellow over time, the alternative option of ProResin Non-UVR requires no catalyst, which offers less control and the resin will yellow over time, hence the difference in price.

Of course, SureSet Resin Systems using ProResin UVR with their aggregate blends is still available and will continue to be specified where appropriate.
